Sugar Land Tennis was founded to provide high-quality tennis lessons in Sugar Land, focusing on understanding, structure, and effective training. Our coaching philosophy emphasizes learning the game properly, developing sound fundamentals, and helping players build skills they can rely on. We believe improvement comes from knowing what to work on, training with intention, and staying consistent over time. We teach players to understand their game, train effectively, and make steady, measurable progress.
Private 1-on-1 tennis lessons in Sugar Land are available for $50/hour. For those looking for a more social experience, our semi-private lessons (for 2–3 players) are offered at $30/hour. Beginners can benefit from our specialized programs at $30 for half an hour. Competitive player training is also available for $80/hour, which includes both a coach and a hitting partner. If you're interested in improving your game through match analysis, we provide this service for $75/hour, including travel time. For stroke analysis—covering serve, forehand, backhand, and more—the rate is $50/hour. We also offer tactical and mental game sessions, priced at $75/hour with a coach, or $200/hour with a psychologist. If you are preparing for team tryouts, we have a dedicated program for $200/week (5 days). Additionally, tennis fitness sessions are available for $50/hour. For those needing equipment assistance, our stringing services are $25 per racquet (labor). Lastly, if you're looking for a hitting partner, we offer that service at $25/hour.

I started playing tennis at 13 years old, and within two weeks of picking up a racquet, I made my junior high tennis team. From that moment on, tennis became a constant in my life. I’m a highly technical player with a deep appreciation for the nuances of the game—the small details that often make the biggest difference. While our program focuses on the bigger picture of long-term development, I enjoy working in the details: refining grips, footwork, timing, and shot selection to help players unlock higher levels of consistency and confidence. I played college tennis as a teenager and earned my bachelor’s degree at just 18 years old, experiences that shaped my discipline, focus, and approach to coaching. I take pride in helping players better understand the why behind what they’re doing, not just the how. My goal is to help each player sharpen their technique, build trust in their game, and develop skills that translate beyond the practice court. For those interested in tennis lessons in Sugar Land, I work with junior, adult, and competitive players.

I coach tennis differently—on purpose. My approach is built around a simple belief: the process dictates the results. When players focus only on winning or making the next shot, they let outcomes determine how they feel about themselves. Results are unpredictable. The process is not. My role as a tennis coach is to help players focus on what they can control, so improvement becomes consistent and confidence becomes real. I offer tennis lessons in Sugar Land, bringing over 25 years of experience in the fitness industry, including roles as a General Manager, Director of Athletics, and Personal Trainer. That background gives me a deeper understanding of biomechanics and movement efficiency, allowing me to coach the technical side of tennis in a way that supports long-term development and healthier performance. I work with junior, adult, and competitive players. I also offer professional racquet stringing services, providing a complete, performance-focused approach both on and off the court.
